I listen to music from an era when the focus wasn't on some media image easily accessible to various ridiculous teenage cliques, but the music!

That hasn't happened in, like, a hundred years. :P

For many artists that is still the case now.

Any artist who claims that either has no ambition or is lying. The money is a part of it.

Edit: I take offense to the thread. My mom had me when she was 16 and I'm not a trainwreck.
