Secret character rubah: defeat the last three bosses in 5 minutes or less, while using materia only. rubah will appear to you in the next new game saying she admires your magic/materia. She will join you without battle when correctly answering three questions about magic/materia. Has been known to scowl in mid-battle, inducing Sadness status.

Unlocking secret character smittenkitten: find all 143 kittens throughout the game. She will appear before you and after battling her for 2 minutes the cats will jump before you and she will join you.

Unlocking Aerith's Knight: Manage to defend Aerith for 20 minutes with any charecter on survivor mode. Once compleated Aerith's Knight will come to your aid, mangage to survive for 10 more minutes and he will become available on your Charecter Roster.

How to unlock Evastio: Defeat the 100 Spammers Battle. After the 100th spammer is defeated Evastio will fly down and challenge you. Defeat him and he'll become available on your character roster.

I unlocked evastio. It wasn't hard.

But has anyone unlocked me? No.

How to unlock Selena_Akariko: During Adventure Mode (regardless of which character or difficulty you pick) be sure to pick up three or more heart containers before they fall on the ground and become dirty. After you defeat the game she'll appear because of you pure-heartedness. She'll join you without having to battle her.

For demondude55: Get the special item Cat Macro, which spawns randomly in the first few stages of the game. He will battle you at once to gain it. Use it like a bullfighter's cloak.

rubah: Is so super awesome she's only avaliable to get at a developer event. Her code is delivered to you by ninjas, carrying buttercups.

I think TEAM: Christmas and Old Manus would be delivered in much the same way, but by little pupus carrying lightsabers.

Vikeve: Survive pelican attack mode for more than an hour. Pelican attack mode is unlocked by being super polite to your fellow players, and spending your precious usernotes randomly. This may be a challenge for less patient players.

Psychokitty: Unlock Psychokitty by defeating the the 12 ghosts x times where x is the number of ciddies you have. If you have ten or less ciddies, you will have to fight Psychokitty in less than 2 minutes or she'll be unlockable forever.

scrumpleberry: Unlock scrumpleberry by cornering Jack Frost and Jack the Reaper in the abandoned hospital. Take the Frost's snowy breath to hold the Reaper's scythe. Use the scythe to break the invisible wall behind the hospital. scrumpleberry will come aout and throw 1,000,000 needles at you. If you are unable to dodge or collect 10% of the needles she'll be unlockable forever.

I know it sounds uber silly. I'm bad at this.
