I remember the time when I attempted this. I was at a friends place, and being the walking walkthrough he is, he was giving me help as I played the game. When it got to this part he started swearing obscenities and I was like 'what?' to which he replied 'f@#$ing seagulls and blitzballs'
5 hours later, and I understood.

I tried for hours getting it on my main game, to no avail. Then I do it for a laugh on my crappy game and I get it first time! Its so stupid.

This was the happiest moment of my life, I had to share it with my BFF, EoFF.
Hope its not 2l8 to offer congrats. There is some luck but don't believe people who tell u its just luck. I felt exactly like u when I did it. It can't be such a terrible mini-game when it brings some people such joy!
That minigame is smurfing evil, I had to get someone else to do it for me.
This is coming from someone who thought tunderbolt dodging was easy.
