Carrie Brownstein's roaring guitar, Janet Weiss' thundering drums, and Corin Tuckers' unbelievable wail (one of the best in all of rock music) together are rock perfection. There are very few groups that can match the raw ferocity of songs like "Entertain", "One Beat", or "The Fox".

Forget greatest female band ever, Sleater-Kinney is one of the greatest bands period.
