Well it's kinda hard to explain, but here goes...

Ok this boy mmoves to Tokyo to go to college and he sees these robots in the windows called persocoms and they are like real life women who are just computers. and He can't afford on and on his way home one night he finds one. and whenever someone tries to scan it with one of their own persocoms They overload and temporarily are out of order, and the only ones who do that are called Chobits, Legendary persocoms. and Yeah that's about all i know now.

the whole point is Hideki want's to go online for porn and ends up falling for his compurter instead... nah i'm just kidding that's not the whole point but that aspect of it is funny throughout the series, if i was to tell you what it really was about it would become one giant spoiler... the anime is really good and hella funny most of the time, but the real meat of the story is better explained in the manga...

Chobits is my favorite anime, ever. I suppose I've made it obvious through my Chii-themed avatar and signature.

I freaking adored every second of the show and the manga.

Chobits > ALL.

I read the manga, never show the show. I heard the opening and closing were pretty good though. Plum's my favorite character, her and her wristle that makes people do arobics.

I managed to watch the anime on TV Links before it got shut down, and I thought it was brilliant, and so funny!

I am trying to get ahold of the manga but I can only find Volume 4 or something random. I can get the first anime volume on DVD from HMV if I wanted, but that's it.

Chobits is awesome! I forget which episode I;m up to and haven't watched it for a while. Hopefully I'll get back to watching it, it was really entertaining.

The manga is a thousand times better than the anime, in my opinion. However, I do love the opening and ending songs for the anime to pieces.

Though Chii and Freya are so super, sexy, special, awesome - Hideki makes the entire series what it is, I think. What a great guy. Internet is for porn and all that.

Mahoromatic and Indian Summer ( can't recall the Japanese spelling for it and that's its most common calling too D: ) are also great robot, computer, maid, cute girl series to look at if you liked the perverted humor in Chobits.

Chobits wins hard. Poetically Pathetic knows it (because I PMed him about it before), and the rest of the world should know it, too. In fact, I even know of this other person who is supposedly anti-Japan, who has finished off the Chobits series. That is how win this show is.
