(SPOILER)Technically, none. The Magick Field in the arena causes an effect that is similar to the Sap effect.
I know it's not the Sap effect because he can additionally inflict Sap on to your characters, which causes their HP to drain at a faster rate, since you have the Magick Field and the Sap effect draining your characters' HP.
