I just want to freaking finish Shenmue. "Shenmue Ga Gotoku" if you have to. I don't know if I want to *play* through a whole new Shenmue (at least not if it's too much like the old ones), but the unfinished story has been nagging at me forever.
As for something that I want to play: I don't know if the series counts as 'Dead', but Zone of the Enders 3 would make me very happy.
I dont know if the monkey island series is dead but i think there should be another one

It 'came to mind' for me as well, since I saw it pop up on my Wii yesterday. Then I remembered I actually *have* the game, complete with the un-dipped-in-water letter.

Lucas Arts hasn't put out a point-and-click adventure game since about 2001, for that matter. It'd be nice to see them revisit them, especially with the Wii controls.
