Almost all sports bore me to death. I may, however, watch the occasional basketball or football (American football; soccer bores me to death as well) game once in a while.

Sexy. Where are you going?
No I don't.
No I don't.
I used to think basketball was boring, but I've gotten into it. I can't think of a sport I wouldn't watch live, but I don't like to watch most on TV.
Those of you talking about auto racing - do you even watch it?
Signature by rubah. I think.
I HAVE watched it. Obviously I don't repeatedly watch things that bore me. I'm not insane.
IMO Baseball suffers the worst in this regard. It is quite possibly one of the more boring sports to watch, but it's way cooler and fun to play.
So, FoA, is there something in NASCAR that you see that we don't? Because I have seen several races before, and I was at best annoyed. I particularly disliked seeing Earndhart crash and die those years back, and frankly, such a dangerous "sport" shouldn't be allowed or endorsed, especially when there are better alternatives (such as driving on Black Friday to the mall, now THAT is fun). I would much rather see Tom Brady break his neck than see someone impaled by large scraps of metal and set aflame.
Poker is a sport? This must be an ESPN thing.
Oh my god they went in a circle!
OH MY GOD!!! they went in another circle!
Its almost like "Oh my god its a giant rock! its a rock... and its giant!"
Oh, did I mention I'm awesome?
Well you are, just in an entirely different way. :P
And of course you watch Nascar for crashes. No need to hide the truth.
And Boko, I've seen a few crashes in racing. So they do happen. (Mind you I still don't like it)
I've not once seen a physical injury in Golf.
Unless it's in a movie.
Pretty much every sport except football bores mebasketball and hockey not so much.
With regard to baseball, even as an enormous baseball fan, I understand why people say that it's boring to watch (and at times, I tend to agree with them). The trick with baseball is the grind with it - if you really get into a team, and watch them day in and day out, and follow their minor league system, baseball is (to me) the best pure sport experience there is. It requires a certain level of commitment in order to make it pay off. I'm a Rangers fan, and every morning in my inbox get boxscores from Surprise, Arizona; Spokane, Washington; Clinton, Iowa; Bakersfield, California; Frisco, Texas; and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, covering all levels of the Rangers' minor-league system. Over the course of the summer, you really feel like you are a part of the team as they go around the country in a 162-game schedule (plus hundreds more from the minor leagues). Just tuning in and watching a game really isn't that breathtaking.
It's possible that it is the same way with NASCAR, but I doubt it, because there is no kind of grind with it. Races are once a week, twice if you include a Busch series race.
Well I obviously do, or else I wouldn't like it or you guys would. I don't watch it to see who wins and I definitely don't watch it for the wrecks. The wrecks are pretty terrifying and I usually leave the room when one happens. I watch it for the skill it takes to operate a vehicle at those speeds, for the technical knowledge of the crew and for the whole system working together in unison. When you imagine how many people it takes to keep those guys safe and get them to where they need to be and realize that they're all working together, I think it's pretty awesome. All I meant by my "No I don't" reply is that you shouldn't lump everyone together like that. People have different reasons for doing what they do.
I also wonder a lot about people who diss NASCAR because a lot of them are Indy fans or drag fans. Do any of you guys who don't like NASCAR like Indy or any kind of drag racing? Or horse racing? Just curious.
I love baseball, but definitely not on TV. I can only watch the World Series or Atlanta and BoSox games on TV, but I will pretty much go to any baseball game imaginable.
EDIT: I'd also rather see Brady break his neck than watch a NASCAR accident. Because I hate Tom Brady. Go Greenbay!

Left, left a bit...left, left, left a bit more, left...
The most boring sport to watch is fishing.
there was a picture here
Cricket is awesome.
Id probably have to go for Gold. Cant think of anything else more boring atm. Although most racing stuff is boring and rugby is quite boring.
