Help with a guitar?

Ok, so I am searching around to buy me an aucustic guitar and found one pretty cheap on ebay. It is 38". So, my question is, is a 38 inch guitar a actually adult size guitar or is it a kid size?

They key factor is the scale length (from bridge to nut):

Fender generally use 25 1/2" for electrics
Gibson generally 24 3/4"
Basses tend to be 34"
and acoustics around the 25" mark

therefore a 38" guitar should have a full scale length and be a full size guitar.
