    Default BUS FARE!

    What do you pay to take the bus? How much do bus tickets/passes cost you?

    My city (Hamilton, Ontario) recently raised our bus fare AGAIN from 2.25 to 2.40 (it was originally 2.10), but apparently we still have one of the cheapest bus fares in all of Ontario. I'm not sure if this is true.

    As for bus tickets, I pay 1.55 for a student ticket, adult are 1.90 or something. A student pass in my area is about 60$, as for adult I don't know.

    I prefer the train here, its much cheaper and more reliable, but if i go home early from college i get the bus its about £1.80

    If I was like Cloud I don't think I would have taken that test.

    To get to campus, I swipe my student ID. Total cost: $0.00.

    Same here, I don't get free trains though. Sucks to be a non-student.

    Cheers to Polaris for the set!

    I usually get a megarider for £9.50, which grants me unlimited bus rides for a week.

    Argh, I got a bus pass from school for free right, that's a solo pass and can be used on all arriva buses till 8pm or something and I'VE LOST IT. Now I have to pay on the school bus (50p ;_; ) and pay if I want to go anywhere, it sucks ;__;

    but it costs 75p, as I always say 'half'. I don't have to pay adult fare yet If I'm getting alot of buses, I'll get an all day pass which is £1.80, I can get as many buses as I want within the north west area, it's great.

    What is bus? I walk practically everywhere.

    When I do catch the bus, it is a ridiculous £2.70 return (at most, it's a little less if you're not going far), but a Megarider weekly pass is a reasonable £8. Four return trips and it's paid for itself.

    £7 odd for a return ticket to Taunton, I believe. That's about a half hour drive.

    But I don't care. I've got a county bus pass for college and other things.
