It's not, as you said. It's more aptly compared to Algebra II. The worst thing anyone has to do in high school is logarithms to get pH from molarity (if that). No limits, no sequences, no major charting or graphing work. Second and third order reactions might cause a little sniffle here and there, but nothing mind-bending, nothing quite like Pre-Calc.
