Don't you agree? I haven't seen KOTOR in years and the other day I had my brother test out his copy on my 360...When I saw the old game footage again it looked like an ancient artifact that had been dug up out of the ground.

i never played the xbox version but yeah it does look heinous compared to a year later or to k2 then you have gameplay and the interface
I like chocolate!! No matter what flavor you get, you can always taste the broken dreams!
~Dead people should stay dead, otherwise whats the point of killing them???
For the love of crap then don't play anything before 2000. Once upon a time we didn't even have three D's!
There is no signature here. Move along.
This is about as constructive as commenting on special effects in 20 year old films.
everything is wrapped in gray
i'm focusing on your image
can you hear me in the void?
No, i could also state the obvious:
You're right, old games have poorer graphics than we are used to in new games.

It's true though, In like 20 years everything now made will seem just appaling, I mean if the graphic's from some of the earlier 360's are looking ancient that either means:
A. We're becoming to attuned to the better graphics and spoiled by them.
B. The graphics are just getting so dramatically better that even things over a year and a half old currently will end up looking ancient in another year or so.
Still, I never played the game, but graphics get old and fast. It's not really something.. note-worthy I guess.
If the game was a gem and did the best it had with what it had. The gameplay and story transcend the graphics. Plus KOTOR didn't try to be something it wasn't. Much like the graphics of a sprite basted game. It can be pretty as well as old. I think it aged well. I still love the gameplay and atmosphere. The look and feel of it. Old or not. It still seems right
KOTOR looks old. Duh. Here are some other little tidbits of information you might find threadworthy.
The sun rises and sets every day in most of the world.
Water is wet.
Clocks are for telling time.
You can talk to people from great distances using a telephone.
Wood is flammable.
You can buy bread in a store.
Books are often made of paper.
Mirage already made your point for you. Continuing to belabor it is just bullying.
