I don't mind them being machines or digital. Having them transform into everyday objects kinda bothers me cause its pretty cheesy in my opinion. If it makes you feel better, I wasn't a fan of Ark in IX either...I think i'm the only one here who likes the concept of mechanical summons.
Seriously,we don't know yet if the rest of the summons will also have the ability to transform and even if they do,i don't think the developers will make something that looks out of place or "ridiculous" with the rest of the game.But it's all speculation at this point.
