It's hard to have a truly shocking season finale when you spend the whole seasons describing the events that take place immediately after it. :P

Alias never really recovered after season 2 though...they only started getting better when they were told that season 5 was the last...but it was too little too late...Atleast with Lost there is some forward movement with the plot
Definately Agreed about the supernatural stuff though...i was over that aspect of the show post season 2 (but i guess im a little intrigued by it)
Chin up people we all know Lost is ending in 2 seasons so might as well enjoy the ride...if the last season sucks then we can get our pitchforks and rally!!!!
[Life is Eternity in a nutshell]
Ohhh i loved the finally, dessie jack <3. i love this show, but seriously a part of me can't wait til the end and another part of me just wants to be forever confused and i fear the death of Desmond, i mean i just can't see him make it to a happy ending. tho i spose he got one tonight.
sucks to be sawyer and juliet
Sawyer's jump from the helicopter was cuuuuuute.
I wonder what he told Kate though? Also, Juliet and Sawyer's exchange on the beach was an awesome scene to me for some reason. They should hook up. They are like the non-annoying alternatives to Kate and Jack!
Best season yet! I loved this finale!
i recon what sawyer told Kate was about his daughter of the island, and thats what she was doing for him when she was back home.
I think Sawyer and Juliet is a bit obvious,
I'm v.worried that now Dessie has Penny he's going to loose her in the whole meanie ben scenario.
Apparently he said:*SPOILERS!* (SPOILER)"I have a daughter in Alberquerque. You need to find her. Tell her I'm sorry.", which makes some sense.
And yeah, my girlfriend and I thought that same very thing of them hooking up, cause they're like the Bizarro Jack and Kate.
Definitely the best season so far!
An interesting theory:
The polar bears were trained to move the wheel. (seriously)
So we know the location where you turn the wheel is really cold. We know whoever does it can not come back. We know polar bears for some reason were being kept on the island. We know ben “jumped” to the sahara desert after turning the wheel. We know a polar bear skeleton with a dharma collar was found in the desert. What does all this mean? Simple… dharma trained Polar bears to turn the wheel on demand. This prevented humans having to do it. Bad news for the polar bears as they got shot off to the desert after doing it and needed replacing. But it kept Richard young.
that's probably what happened indeed.
Just learned from a Spoiler that (SPOILER)Jin is not dead. I figured as much!
(SPOILER)Though I felt sorry for his character's fate (I was hoping he'd end up happy and back with Walt) Michael's last words were priceless: "Who the hell are you?" BOOM.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
That polar bear theory is awesome and makes a lot of sense.
Is the next season going to be the last one, or is there one more after that?
The show will last two more seasons.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
Danielle and I played "catch up with the last five episodes of Lost" last night and it was awesome.
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
