Took a little break. Roaming around in the water temple now, trying to not miss any treasure.

stay in coneria inn, fly to temple of fiends, wander around killing monsters, maybe gain a level, EXIT, fly back to coneria, stay in inn, repeat. that is my game for the next 24 levels.
this is why I never get L50. but I will this time, gosh darn it.
I could easily finish the game right now; all my chars are at Level 99 with the best equipment possible (well, for Red Mages anyway). I want to complete the other optional dungeon but it's quite frankly the most annoying piece of crud I have ever experienced outside of FF12.

The only cool parts about the optional dungeuns are its bosses other than that they're really boring.
Been playing for so long now. xD
Defeated Kraken and Tiamat. Also beat all the bosses in the Earthgift Shrine as well as Hellchasm fireshrine.
Level 66

I've done it on the NES version before running up and down Warmech's bridge in the Flying Castle. Seemed the easiest way. Warmech starts to become a pushover.this is why I never get L50. but I will this time, gosh darn it.
...
What's Warmech called in the newer versions of the game? I'm afraid I've missed him, and I'd like to complete the Bestiary... even tough I'm not sure that will be possible; depends on how deep I can get in the time dungeon. Are there any new enemies at all Maxx?
Within the central game, no. There are new monsters in the bonus dungeons including the bosses, including a boss in the ToF's bonus dungeon whose form differs depending on what type of seal you opened in what order, with each incarnation a different version. Let it be said that the ToF bonus dungeon is a bitch. I've attempted it about six times and failed each time to get the most powerful form. Not because of my lack of skill, the puzzles are just ridiculously annoying.
Incidentally there are no missable enemies in FF1. You can revisit any location and refill your Bestiary.

I'm attempting the SoC dungeons, but I'm overleveled and they're easy. If the new dungeon is a challenge, it will be a nice change for once. I should also be able to finish it all before the end of the month.
Finally got my copy of Origins. I'll tell you how I get on once I start playing
Don't forget the starting screenie!
I'm gonna be a bit busy, probably for the rest of February, so I don't know how much I'll be able to play. But hey, I'm at Chaos Temple, so I should be able to make it if that's not extremely long-winded.
I really have to get started again after having taken a longer break. I think I'll resume my game tomorrow.
Ok, the party is on level 5 and I'm in some town where I got jumped by like 10 pirates, then they gave me their ship
Liking it so far. Would play more but my mother chucked me off the tele to watch crappy programmes :/
Well, just another 9 days before this competition is finished, but I think I can still make it if I start now. Alright, I'm attempting an all-out fighter game (not much challenge, I know), and I'm going to attempt to finish the game without class change. If I've some time left, I will try to max out my levels, but for now, I'll start with this:
Dago: My username (just sounds cool)
Psyc: Psychotic, for naming his warrior after my real name (hell yeah!)
Scis: professor_scissors, for naming a thief after me (not as cool as Fighter)
Paul: My real name (obviously)
I'll post my progress tomorrow.
