Ive played games like these online. You have limited supplies and you gotta place your defenders strategically to kill the attackers. Forgotten the name.
"They said this day would never come. They said our sights were set too high. They said this country was too divided, too disillusioned to ever come around a common purpose. But on this January night, at this defining moment in history, you have done what the cynics said we couldn't do." - Barack Obama.
clicky clicky clicky
seems to be mobile... gameplay doesn't seem to be all-ending innovative.

IGN: Final Fantasy Tactics Classes Feature in New Mobile Game
The latest Final Fantasy offshoot has hit Japan. DS? PS3? PSP? Nope, nope, nope. Try iMode cell phones from NTT DoCoMo.
Square Enix released today Crystal Guardians W1, a realtime strategy game that features Final Fantasy Tactics A2 character classes. Your goal is to protect crystals from monsters by smartly positioning troops of various jobs on a map. Enemy waves appear at an entrance, then attempt to flee the map, stealing your crystals in the process. You've got to stop them before they manage to walk away with twenty crystals.
For a closer look at the game, check out Square Enix's Crystal Guardians website.
Japan-based readers who have an iMode phone can download a free sample of the game from the Final Fantasy Mobile site. Distribution of the game outside of Japan has yet to be announced.
Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"
