Are you remembering to play with Response Rate set to 8?

(I ask out of charity because I just recently was informed that this was an option)

Response Rate is how fast the battle text appears and goes away. You want it set to 8 if you don't want to go insane from seeing how much damage EVERY SINGLE ENEMY does for a number of seconds at a time.

Though a RR of 7 isn't too bad. I've been having trouble getting screenshots of the "Terminated" coming up after beating Fiends (an action shot instead of the calm after the battle shot that I had for Lich).
