I'm working on some projects that involes FF6.
I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure the answer is no.
Unless the emulator has an online functionality built into it, friend codes and networking will not work in any game.
I believe in the power of humanity.
I don't think an emulator that can play FF III DS exists right now. Maybe in the future.
