Well here comes the thread for people who saw a thread, got really excited, wanted to post on it just to discover it was already closed.
Down here you can write the name of the thread and leave your comment to that thread... So here's your second chance, don't miss it!

Ok, I'm not good at explaining things, but I think I got through my point. The reason for this thread is that there might be people, like me, that are new and are no longer capable of writing in the threads that interests them cuz they've been closed. So basically you can say anything in this thread as long as you are kind to eachother.

Anyway...
There was a thread I really wanted to be part of... The thread's name was "If you could cast a ff8 movie"
and well here are my results (some of this was already suggested and I really liked the idea...):

Squall - Kevin Zegers (Not 100% here but he kinda got that sad look.)

Irvine - Ian Somerhalder (I know he's a few years older than the other ones, but Irvine kinda looks older)

Quistis - Leelee Sobieski (This is one of my favorite choices)

Laguna - He's just impossible to cast... honestly... he must be cute of course, he is Squalls dad so that should be a fact. Maybe James Marsden cuz he kinda have some gestures that looks like Kevin Zegers (the guy I chose as Squall.) With longer hair maybe he could pull it off. But I don't know if he could pull of acting as shy as Laguna... Maybe Jared Leto cuz he already has long hair :P

Ward - Jason Statham (if he gained a little weight. He has the face for it.)

Kiros - Chris Tucker (Remember Chris in the fifth elementh? Doesn't his style kinda remind you of Kiros style?)

Raine - Neve Campbell (Remember she's dies just after giving birth to Squall... so she actually never gets to get so old.)

Ellone - Rachel Leigh Cook (She's older than the others.. but remember she's Squall's "big sister".)

Edea - Rose McGowan (She's the forth sister in Charmed, here's a resent pic of her and tell me if she isn't perfect as Edea)

Seifer - Chris Evans / Hayden Christensen (I really don't see Hayden Christensen as Squall.)

Cid - Matt Damon (I think Robbie Williams looks perfect for the role as Cid, but he's too old for it. Put glasses on him... larger dyed hair and Matt Damon could pull it of.)

Well, we actually have no problem with people making new threads for previous threads that are closed. However, a thread with a huge range of topics is a little hard to handle. I say this thread can be the new FF8 movie thread. If you ever want to make a thread along the same topic as a closed thread, just double check with a mod beforehand!

We prohibite thread necromancy so that people will actually open new threads and keep the forum more lively instead of posting in an old one most regulars don't have interest in anymore.

Um, yeah. Depending on the reason that the original thread was closed for in the first place, you might be able to start another thread on the topic...or not. Continuing to post in here on a thread that was originally closed for good reason might not be a good idea because it would just continue on with the same line that got it closed in the first place. But, like foa said, if you are unsure you can always PM a Knight/Admin for clarification.

For threads that have a topic that you would like to respond to but are way to old to revive, you are welcome to start a new thread on those and you may link to the past thread for further reference.

So, I really don't think that this thread has a purpose.
