New information about the Final Fantasy VII remake

This confirms that something is happening. Only that "Hajime Tabata" said that if the other team developers could free themselves more then there would be a better chance that this will happen.

notice the key word 'possibility', but of course all the rabid fans are gonna read it as 'definately', it does not confirm anything is happening only that that Tabata would like it to happen, and as it stands even he said everyone else is wrapped up in other projects... and asking for only good comments isn't gonna work on a rumor thread, this will most likely get locked soon anyway as it seems rumors are not taken lightly around here...

The company has not prioritized a remake of Final Fantasy VII because, like that blog post says, a majority of the director level executives are focusing on other projects.

Many key employees of Square Enix have commented that a remake of Final Fantasy VII is a possibility to the point of inevitability. I believe that a remake of the game will come when technology progresses to a certain benchmark.

I've noticed a pattern, the most recent FF7 remake threads have all been created by dreaming. Expect another in a week after he/she has researched more into this and annoyingly creates another thread.

I've said this already - the Devs, specifically Nomura, have said that they would LIKE - key word - to do a remake, but that is NOT a confirmation that they will remake it. Nomura alone has 5-6 projects he's in charge of(meaning he doesn't have time to work on a remake) - can't we just leave this subject alone until there is, IF there is, a confirmation.
