What is your eyesight like? Do you wear contacts or glasses? If so, do you wear them all of the time, or just sometimes? Are you short sighted or long sighted?

I used to have 20/20 vision until I was twelve. It was at this age I became short sighted, which makes distant objects and writing seem blurred. If I squint I can sometimes make out distant writing. I wear glasses, but not always. I wear them when I'm driving, when I'm at college, and often when I'm watching TV or when I'm watching football (to make out the names and numbers). I hope to get contacts soon, because I'd probably wear them the majority of the time.

I don't know the numbers, but I think I have a good sight. I can see what I need, and sadly what I don't too.

Nah, but my eyesight is almost as good as it gets, at least when I'm not tired.

Not sure about the numbers, but I'm short sided like you, Jess (or, nearsighted, to those of us Americanz). I have to wear them all the time. I don't mind though 'cause I kinda like 'em =]

My eyes are really screwed up, but somehow I get away without wearing glasses. I spend a lot of time looking through one eye at a time, and if I'm looking through the right eye it can make the left one go all lazy. I don't even realise I'm doing it most of the time, which is weird because it seems like the sort of thing you ought to notice.

Also I'm colourblind, but it's a very specific kind of colourblindness that only affects me when I'm trying to make a distinction betweeen very specific shades of red or green. The only time it ever seems to affect me is when I'm doing the colourblindness test. Not that I'd notice it any other time, of course...

Yet with all that said, my actual vision is pretty good. Not perfect, but good enough to read the letter chart at the optician's. And I don't have to wear glasses, which is good enough for me.

I have the worst vision of anyone I know, besides my father, who is blind in one eye. I'm -6 in one eye, and -7 in the other, in contact prescription.
