In mafia games that I play on another forum, Day 1 lasts a week or so. Basically it begins with the jokevote phase where everybody throws down votes on people for humorous reasons. Like voting for Germany because you hate bratwurst! Then you wait for someone to say something stupid and then pile onto them until they ask to be replaced.
