    Default My Start Menu icon disappeared

    Ok, today for some odd reason, my start menu icon just disappeared right off of my start menu. The photo is attached, someone please help me figure out how to get it back.

    yea, everything works fine. Its just the icon is missing.

    Try uninstalling that yahoo garbage on your taskbar.

    Worth a shot. I started getting similar problems on Vista when I gave Gunbound a shot a few days ago.

    Have you tried just moving the taskbar to another edge of the screen/autohiding/resizing it?

    EDIT: Ok, I just unchecked auto hide toolbar, and now the icon appeared but when I click to auto hide it, it goes away. GRRR.

    Reformat/reinstall. It's apparently so much faster in Vista since it doesn't ask much and just installs almost everything instead
