Sometimes, I feel uncultured when I go to fancy restaurants and everyone there is drinking wine and there's this big extensive wine list, and the waiter comes around asking if you'd like to try some of this or that wine and I'm just like, "eh... no thanks."

Like 98% of alcholic beverages, I think wine tastes icky.

Except when it's used as part of the cooking process. Shrimp tossed in a splash of white wine, basil, and mozzerella? Omg, so freakin delicious.

I just made chicken picatta yesterday (and had the leftovers today) with white wine, garlic and butter and it was super yummy.

In food = amazing
On it's own = bleh
