Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

The product page at EBgames states that the game ships on June 24, 2008. What an underwhelming release announcement. I was expecting a press release from Square Enix.
I believe in the power of humanity.
This is how it usually goes. I remember several people refused to believe that the FFIII remake had been changed to ship in November 2006, when Square Enix's last public word on it had been that it was due for September. They're just not much into announcing dates.
You would think they would be all over that. It's not like Square Enix, Inc. has much to do besides localize and market games that come from Square Enix Co., Ltd.
Did anyone notice that the game is stated to be Final Fantasy Tactics AZ? Is that its localized title or is that a placeholder name? Does anyone know? I was not aware of this.

Thank you, Crossblades, I guess I can put away the Nyquil for now...
edit: I see they're also accepting pre-orders for Final Fantasy XIII, due 12/01/08... I guess it might be too early to pop open the champagne.
Oh, goody. I was worried. Nice to know we'll finally get it. It's been out for what, 6 months in Japan?
