I didn't really consider Kimahri before I read this thread but I think it seems pretty appropriate now. However, my initial thoughts were Lulu and I think she'd be the one to go through with it. Lulu has done pilgrimages in the past and I think that would drive her - at least in part - to see it through to the end. I wouldn't want it to have been Lulu but I think that she'd be the most willing and probably the most able to deal with the mental and emotional strain of what would be required (i.e. essentially self-sacrifice).

Kimahri would be the best option. I think his bond with Yuna is very strong and he has been protecting her since she was a small child. He is also the last Ronso (Seymour killed all the others, or so he says).

Lulu. I mean everyone has already stated why, but I just think she would be a bad-ass final aeon.
