The last thread on this topic probably wasn't too long ago, but I can't find it, so here we go.
Today, I found a copy of Neo Contra in its original shrinkwrap for ten American dollars.
Now, you.

Panzer Dragoon Orta for 6 bucks. Best thing Gamestop has ever done for me.
A close second was getting a Dreamcast for like $25, spending an additional $10 or $15 on controllers and a couple VMUs, and then being able to find every game for the system online.![]()
One of my friends found FFIII/VI for the SNES in a pawn shop for about two bucks. That was pretty awesome.
GoldenEye, Ł2. Mmmmmm yes.
I got Beyond Good and Evil and Ikaruga for $10 each. I also got Skies of Arcadia: Legends for $15.
I found a copy of Namco Museum in Wal-Mart mispriced at $2. :P I bought it, played it for a while, and eventually ended up trading it for the Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition. (That was more of a friend doing me a favour, though.)
Greatest Hits version Symphony of The Night sealed for 12 bucks+JF! 2 for 20.
Stubbs the Zombie.! 3 AU dollars, new ^_^
On Saturday I found Super R-Type for the SNES in beautiful condition for a mere $4.00.
Went grocery shopping with my grandmother once and for whatever reason, there was a bin of PSOne games by the checkout. After digging through about sixty copies of The Incredible Hulk, there it was. Truly, this was evidence that God exists on earth and is the only time he will shine his light upon me. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night in it's original packaging, smiling at me with it's $15 price tag.
For some reason they've pulled almost all GameCube games out of the bigger video game stores in entire Denmark, so it was to my delight that I finally found a copy (it was used, but whatever.. the used games are usually also the bad ones) of Metroid Prime for around 15 dollars. It was a good day.
I found a used copy of Rez for only Ł10. I thought I did pretty well for myself.
Vagrant Story, ex-rental for NZ$6.95. This made me very happy at the time (2001, I believe), and given the relative scarcity of that game now, I'm extremely pleased.
Also nifty was finding the Final Fantasy Anthology brand new for $25, back in 2002.[q=Tsukasa]Stubbs the Zombie.[/q]That game is marvelous. I've never played it, but I've seen it played... any game featuring a zombie protagonist who can use his own organs as ranged weapons, and where a mini-game involves peeing into a reservoir for several minutes straight...
Silent Hill, 10 dollars. yay.
I bought a copy of Luminous Arc for only $19.99 because of a price mistake. Atlus tends to have small production runs for its games, so to find a used copy shortly after release for a low price is better than paying full price for a new copy, I think —
I believe in the power of humanity.
4 years ago I found Super Castlevania and Castlevania Bloodlines brand new at toys r us for $10 each. I couldn't believe they still had that crap XD
