Exactly. The Smash Bros series is one of those games where a lot of different characters show up. However, they're all Nintendo. There's a whole bunch of other companies that mixed up a lot of their game series in one game like Konami with Konami Krazy Racers, Sega with Sega Superstar Tennis, Marvel and Capcom with Marvel vs. Capcom, and other games like that. You don't see Crash Bandicoot in Sega Superstar Tennis, Bomberman in Konami Krazy Racers, or Simon Belmont in Marvel vs. Capcom do you? If you're going to argue that Marvel vs. Capcom have different characters from those two game companies in the same game that's because that's always been what the game was supposed to be about. The Smash Bros. series was originally supposed to be Nintendo characters facing each other. What's so wrong with changing it to other companies as well? They should've done that with the first game if they're planning to do that at all since it'd just dissappoint the people that really enjoyed how the game was Nintendo only. You have to admit that having the majority of the characters in Brawl being Sega or Konami characters would kill off the feel that the other two games had right? Especially if they kicked out all of your favourite Nintendo characters in favour of third party characters just because of some annoying fan demands...
