The certain characters part doesn't necessarily apply to me. There're some people on EoFF that are still against the idea of certain characters being in Brawl (namely Ness, Marth, and Falco). Personally I don't agree with that. Falco is Fox's most reliable partner (Peppy is too old and Slippy is a little too clumsy. Krystal is also reliable but Falco's been there more for Fox than Krystal has, no offense Monol. They're like a Mario/Luigi duo.) and not wanting Ness and Marth in because they're clones of Lucas and Ike is just ridiculous. That's like saying Mario and Link should be kicked out because they're clones of Dr. Mario and Young Link.
On a lighter note, here's an interesting story of what a guy did with his copy of Brawl.
