Thread: Omnislash Question

  1. #1

    Default Omnislash Question

Does Omnislash ignore the mods on your weapons?
i.e. using Yoshiyuki, wont matter if you have allies down during Omnislash
using Ultima Weapon wont matter if your HP is low or high during Omnislash

I found the Ultima weapon did very minimal damage during Omnislash with low HP

^ this. It actually loses its "whiteness" and turns darker blue, too. After the zillions of times I've played it over the last what, 10 years, I'd never noticed that until someone pointed it out yesterday.

yeah, this is Ultima Weapons "hidden" bonus, all ultimate weapons have them

but; I noticed when fighting Ruby Weapon, regardless of what my HP were when perfoming Omnislash, my attacks did around 2000 damage, which is what cloud would do with another sword equipped (i.e. apocalypse)

In order to get the best out of Omnislash, just try to keep Cloud's HP at full or at least close to full so his Ultima Weapon wouldnt lose power

im saying I found it didnt make any difference during omnislash. his damage was always at a fixed rate regardless of what his HP was.

    My fault. Must've misunderstood

But I guess Omnislash does have fixed rate being it's one most powerful limit breaks in the game.

The maximum filesize for signatures is 50kb. 400 is a bit too much! - Azar

I think that might have to do with other stats of Cloud and Ruby than his ultimate weapon. For instance; strength of Cloud and defense of Ruby. I dunno, but might be worth looking into.

Wow. That's quite a breadth of time. Personally, I've always thought the UW looked so much damned cooler when Cloud was at straights. For some reason, I just can't like that white thing. My other favorites include:... lol
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.
