Default I have problems installing Final Fantasy VII for the PC

I have a problem installing the game. When I try to, it says, "C:Windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft window applications. Choose 'Close" to terminate the application." Is there any way to remedy this problem?

What operating system are you using? What are your system specifications? Have you tried the patch from Eidos? Have you tried to run it in Windows 98/Me Compatibility Mode? Did you buy this? Did you download it? (It could be a bad download if that were the case)

I coulda sworn there's volume levels in the Config menu in game.
If there is, turn the music down and the volume on your computer up, that should level things out.

    Oops, wrong thread.
