How to swim? Dad would throw me in the pool and he'd tell me to swim so I wouldn't drown. I was 3.
Ride a bike? 4. Dad would put me on the bike and told me to pedal so I wouldn't fall.
Read? About 4 or 5. Learned from parents.

Teachers tried to teach me at 8/9. They failed.

My brother tried to teach me when I was 5, but after he let go of the bike I punched him in the face. He refused to teach me after that. I tried teaching myself a few years ago but I gave up.
Who taught you how to read, and at what age?
Teachers at age 5. I guess my mum helped a bit because it was a school requirement that we read to our parents for 10 minutes every morning.
