Thread: Most Kickass Summon

  1. #1

    Default Most Kickass Summon

    The question, very simple.

Of all of the summons in all of the Final Fantasy series,
Which do you think is the greatest?

I have to say Knights of the Round(FF7), come on, 70K damage per casting. Enough said.
Those trapped in the darkness often grow weary of solitude. But when they finally escape, most realize that they miss the serene, peacefulness of the dark.

Anima outclasses KotR hard. With 16 hits x99999, that's more than enough to kill anything except the FFX uberbosses. Sure they are different battle mechanics, game-wise, but in terms of pure damage, not much can outshine Anima.

I like Bahamut from FFX and IIIj the best.

Everyone knows that Bahamut and Odin are great no matter which Final Fantasy they're in.

In the original version of the game, Anima's Overdrive only hits once.

Nothing will ever beat FF III NES' chocobo, er, Bahamut I mean. I just like those giant flares and your enemies turning red from the heat. =p For a console as limited as the NES, I was impressed, I'll admit.

    Bahamut and Shiva in General

    Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
    Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"
