Which scenes in the FF series just made you want to go "you just got owned!"? If you need a definition of Owned, seek it somewhere else because I can't really define it. =P

Indeed Palmer plus Truck is like the OTP of Final Fantasy VII.

Honourable mentions:
Auron's 'introduction' during the Luca Blitzball tournament in FFX. People are running and screaming; he calmly strides up to the 20 foot, four-eyed beast and fells it with one swipe. A very nonchalant, and rather badass, piece of ownage.

Then there's the scene in FFXII when Fran, in a Mist-fuelled frenzy, flips out and kicks the snot out of several Archadian guards despite being in handcuffs.

From a fanboyish perspective, my favourite instance of FF ownage would be the final confrontation in FFVII, when (SPOILER)Cloud uses Omnislash against Sephiroth, venting years of pent-up fury and injustice in 13 blows against his nemesis.

Since it's a magic spell that just creates a painful explosion, it's entirely plausible for it to work numerous times If he could actually trigger a supernova, then the Black Materia would be totally pointless since he could obliterate everything, himself included, in a flash...
