I read and I sing. At the same time. In the bath tub.
I don't think the power has gone off once at college. The water has though! those are good days because then I can take ice cream out of the pomfreteria because they put out paper cups for us to drink.
Prepare for the horde of zombies that are so obviously coming.
I take a nap or call my boyfriend.
The last black out we had was first thing in a morning, I woke up with my alarm and had to get ready for school in darkness.
Either hope that my iPod/DS/PSP have charge or sleep.
Cower in the shadows and cry until the light returns.
Play some DS or PSP.

Also it still happens in college. Last time the lights went out, some guy went down the dorms yelling, "HEY! THE LIGHTS ARE OUT EVERYBODY!"
Play guitar or read.
