(SPOILER)There are 12 possible classes. The original 6 are Fighter, Black Belt, Thief, Red Mage, Black Mage, and White Mage. After class change, these respectively become Knight, Master, Ninja, Red Wizard, Black Wizard, and White Wizard. Note that the class Fighter is replaced with Warrior in the remakes, and the Black Belt class becomes Monk.
