I'm not afraid of anything, though I am very wary of Kings Cross underground station, ever since the fire. Though in general, underground travel in London is okay, even fun, as it's a novelty to me, it's just Kings Cross (I come into the mainline every time I go to my parents' house). It give me the creeps. Seriously, it still smells like smoke in some parts of the platforms over twenty years later, and I don't like going there...I used to be able to avoid it completely, but since my parents have moved to a nicer part of London, I have to go through it to get there directly.
I can handle it, because I make the trip twice, maybe three times a day. Couldn't stomach the smufing place every day, though... *shudders* Which is why I don't live in London anymore.
Also, when that whole terrrorist thing happened a couple of years back, my parents' phone was engaged all the time, which freaked me out a bit. it turned out that all their concerned friends had called them, asking if they were okay. Fortunately, my mum had just missed the whole chaos, as she works outside of London.
