Aye.
Hello Pika Art by Dr Unne ~~~ godhatesfraggles
Oh hello. I know I'm late on this, but rather than clutter up the thread with random screenshots, I'm keeping them all sorted right here, along with all the side commentary:
EoFF Challenge: Final Fantasy II - Home
This thread is made to be cluttered up with random screenshots. Actually, I have a lot of fun at looking at where other people are now and how their party goes on.
Yeah, but I like keeping my things together and in order. ANAL RETENTIVE, YO!
There are seven new pages to look at right here:
EoFF Challenge: Final Fantasy II - Archive
ROFL!! XD
Me and Evastio need to get our wits together. She's definitely beating us at funny walkthroughs.
I'll update in the evening hoping that I can someway make it out of the Dreadnought. I'm stuck in there after freeing Cid and Hilda with an exhausted party and rapidly decreasing healing items.
Well I've endeavoured to pull myself away from the tribulations of WoW in order to try and get somewhere. It doesn't help I'm currently undergoing the hardest challenge possible (no physical attacks, initial equipment, last-character only AND the NES version to boot), so progress is super slow.
Our story picks up sometime after the Dreadnaught has laid some waste, and I've ventured into the frozen lands of the north. This constituted a few days worth of grinding Josef. Incidentally I really like Josef as a character because he's one of the few RPG characters with a noticeably receeded hairline. What will all these spikey blonde haircuts and long grey do's we forget the reality of baldness in a fair majority of men. Josef wears his mop, or lack thereof loud and proud. We salute you sir!
The Goddess Bell cave was a nightmare due to one thing; Stunning enemies. Literally, enemies that can Stun you everytime they hit you. Alright if you have four characters, not so great on your own. I had to restart several times in order to get through in the end.
Gotta love the self-referential lines in this particular fan translation. Perhaps Oua would have been closer to the mark? Incidentally I don't know how TPW managed to speak to the beavers, being as he was unconscious at the time.
Hey, since when was Psychotic in this game? Distractions aside, I'm being chased by an evil pixellated boulder. Whom shall save me?
Josef, no! You were so great, so bald, so power-levelled. Now you are gone, and I take a rather painful snowride by the seat of my pants to get back to town with my underpowered TPW (i.e. Guy)
This is me getting to the other side of the ice-field, where I am now currently levelling TPW for the trip to Cashuon Castle. Once I get there of course I have to Teleport straight out, kill of TPW and then power level Gordon. I see a horribly painful pattern emerging here. Dammit, why couldn't it have just been a Frionel-only challenge?
There is no signature here. Move along.
I'm still in the Dreadnought. I. HATE. THAT. DUNGEON.
Were you able to get PSP screenshots in the end? Sorry for not being able to help you out, but I had to get step-by-step help via MSN myself, and when I looked into my chronology for the chat, I couldn't find it.
Oh LOL I was convinced you'd try to play the PSP version, I should have realized by the format of the screenshots, you were emulating NES instead. XD
What software did you use in the end, and does it let you take movies? I would enjoy greatly being able to take movies from my PSP, but I haven't been able to as of yet.
