On the contrary, I think it'll be a cut of 5-10 people at most, because of this challenge. Not much higher than that. Basically, only the people who applied on a whim and don't care that much to come online. xD

I had already assumed some people who had applied might not be considered. I'm not saying they're not serious or have nothing to offer, I'm just thinking general behaviour before this competition may prohibit some from advancing beyond the application stage.
