This Is a Clever Newbie Thread Title

Newbie threads are not part of my French homework, which is probably why I'm writing one right now.

I hate writing these things since they suck by default.

I'm Kes. And, I don't really play Final Fantasy really. I mean, I beat FFVII, but that was because I used the internets to help me. I have played a bit of FFIV, FFVIII, FFX, and FFXII. The reason I haven't finished any of them is because I started playing them after I started playing WoW, and well, anyone who's played an MMO probably understands. I read a bit, mostly SF/F. I also fence, though not competitively.

Ouch! told me that I should come join, and so here I am. It's been a while since I've been on a forum, and even longer since I've been on one this size, so this should be fun. At the very least it's still not French homework.

I should probably note that I actually haven't seen the movie Kes. Though, scrumpleberry, you're the first person to actually bring it to my attention. I'll consider that a recommendation, and watch it in the future. Another note relating to my name is that I did not get it from the Star Trek character.

Come to think of it, I don't think you've ever told me where the username Kes comes from. I mean, I think I can make some guesses, but then the whole Kessica Kesington thing really throws me off.
