Well, I have to say, for me, teen novels about vampires are kind of like crack. It's very unhealthy and even more embarrassing, but that doesn't stop it from being an addiction.

It's rather sad, but the worse the prose the more I like it. Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, anyone? Or Twilight perhaps?

That being said, I have yet to find a convincing vampire anything (well, Sunshine by Robin McKinley did okay) where one is given a good reason why this immortal, near invincible race hasn't taken over the world yet and just turned humans into cattle.

Oh, and also, yay Buffy.

And of course, Castlevania

Just for a start.

Also, to a lesser extent, Blade, D&D vampires, Count Chocula, Buffy, Underworld...um...I think that's about it.

I love vampires almost as much as I love zombies, which is a lot. The ability to live forever, and in most modern Western fictions, after Dracula, look good doing it...is plain awesome. Combine this with preternatural strength and speed, and control of the minds and fears of humans...the ability to transform, become invisible.../drool

I was very and probably still am interested in vampires. I use to be very gothic when I was younger me and my friend almost everyday would hang around the graveyard after school. It was peaceful there, and noone would bother us. I also read Darren Shan books which is all about a young boy who becomes a half vampire, good story. I'm sure you've all heard from Daniel that I also like to bite. :rabite:

I like the Nightwatch series, and Bram Stokers. That's about it. Oh and that's the books not the movies. Although, the movies are awesome.
You hold my heart in your manly hands I wanna feel the throb of your handsome gland. I wanna hold you tight like a newborn kitten, against my flesh like a cashmere mitten. Tickly tick, I'm makin' skin bump heaven and all the way down it's lookin' cleanly shaven. Prickety pricks, it's stubble on stubble I better slow down or I'm in real trouble. Want you, touch you, feel you, taste you! Knick knack whacky whack 'till I see the man stew. spin you around let me see that hole! I'm a tunnelin' in a like a short hair mole. Once I'm inside I'm gonna leave a trace, half in there and half on that face! One finger, two finger, there fingers gone! Mano a mano I love you John!

She's too cute to be a vampire. ^__^ Vampires should be elegant and sexy, well the ones in my imagination are.

She has more elegant moments in the anime than she does cuteness-soaked ones. That's *mostly* confined to the OP.

I keep reading them ;_;

Half of the time I grab a book and I don't even realilze it's about vampires! My favorite vampire story is the Twilight series. THEY'RE MAKING A TWILIGHT MOVIE AND EDWARD WILL BE PLAYED BY THE GUY WHO PLAYED CEDRIC IN HARRY POTTER xD

I read Marked a little while ago, it was kinda neat n.n

Yeah sure, I dig vampires! There needs to be a new vampire movie in the near future or something.

I've always sort of liked Anne Rice and I'm a big fan of Buffy/Angel, and who doesn't like mysterious stories/characters and gore in general? I know I do!
