I believe they did. There has been a lot of discussion and "proof" tossed around by both sides, but after weighing it all, I think we landed on the moon.
considering with a high enough powered telescope people have actually seen the flag on the moon... yeah

naw not offhand, but I remember reading an article about it a few years ago. Of course, the moon has to be turned the right way and everything, with ample light. So it had to be a certain time etc to be able to see it.Really, I didn't know that. Do you know where/if the pictures could be found?

I don't know. I want to believe that we landed on the moon, but its hard not to notice what proof has been shown to rebut the idea of man on the moon.

Yeah, I thought the way a telescope gathers light prevents us from seeing the flag on the moon. It's one of the common conspiracy theory "proofs". They say you can't see the flag with a telescope, therefor we didn't land. The rebuttal is that telescopes gather light and the flag ends up "bleached out" of the image. Most people think that a telescope acts like a giant magnifying glass, which isn't really true.Really, I didn't know that. Do you know where/if the pictures could be found?

that's why they have to calculate it so that there's a certain light spread on the moon and such.
