    Job

Jobs the horrible things we have to get up early to go to and slave away all day, well unless you like your job.

What do you do for a living?

If you don't do anything what do you want to do? :mog:

I'm currently out of college and unemplyoed. I'm still figuring out what job I should take. Maybe a call center agent is not a bad idea...

Call centre agent is the ideal first job. Lots of the people I trained with at BT (British Telecom) are younger than myself (25) and for around half of them it was their first proper job.

I currently work at a kindergarten/afterschool centre for kids between 5-8. I work there 30 hours a week, from 11 am to 5 pm, which is great. Other than that I also work at the local sports centre, where I clean and sometimes also have the watch.. my hours there are not fixed, though - I work when they need me to.

I'm pretty much a bum atm, looking for anything easy to make some quick money.

My ideal career would involve writing.

I run a grocery store. And by run I mean I do practically everything, but I only got hired to cashier, then months later I got made a stock, supervisor, customer service, and cash office person. And despite all that I don't make over 8 bucks an hour.

I am tempted to say that I would let myself starve before I ever had a job that involved calling people. I probably wouldn't, but I wish I had that resolve and strength to prevent my suffering.

Right now I'm an unemployed college student i.e. scum of the earth.

Unemployed college students are fine as long as their parents front cash. Otherwise I can't do much with them.

    Um...

I'm apparently an ID Administration Analyst.

    From my résumé:

    * Provided support for Messaging (Group E-mail, Distribution Lists) administration, including but not limited to: Ownership/Co-ownership modification, membership modification, Creation, Removal, Domain Global Group management.
    * Maintained ticket closure within service level agreement (one business day) at 97+% (typically 100%)

Soon you can add some domain logon administration and group disk share administration to those tasks.

Oh and my job is ridiculously easy. Excerpt from today:

    (10:47:12 AM) Chemical: i have work 7 - 9
    (10:47:16 AM) Chemical: er
    (10:47:16 AM) i'm a SHAAAARK!: lawl
    (10:47:17 AM) Chemical: 5 - 9
(10:47:30 AM) i'm a SHAAAARK!: no james for you!
    (10:47:32 AM) i'm a SHAAAARK!: he's all mine!
    (10:47:35 AM) i'm a SHAAAARK!: um
    (10:47:48 AM) i'm a SHAAAARK!: /goes back to warcraft

I play video games during the day. These tickets take literally 5 minutes MAX to do, and I don't get that many in a day. Yawn.

I would have said the same thing eight months ago. Then my previous job got too boring, I was under poor leadership, and I felt my talents were being wasted, so I just went for it.
