Php + blogspot

So as you know I had to creat a blog for my english class and now I wanted to edit the layout with one I found at an amazing website, the problem is I download the zip file with the images and codes and tried to put it on blogspot and coulnd't. Now my cousin, Megami already told me that she didn't made layouts to blogspot anymore because it was weird now so is that a blogspot problem or can I do it?

So do I have to change my host place or can it be done at blogspot?

I've never used Blogspot, but I don't see any reason why that code shouldn't work. It's actually not PHP, just HTML with a bit of Javascript. You probably need to hack the code up a bit to make it work nicely with Blogspot, so if you aren't comfortable editing code I'd find someone who is.
