Unfortunately no, I tend to put the controller down alot of the time during cutscenes. Im always in a frenzy to find my controller when it prompts to press a specific button on screen during cutscenes.
I'm still way in the beginning apparently. I really need to glue my ass to the chair and play. It seems so difficult to do now though.

I think I may need to watch the ending again because I missed one or two things.
I said earlier I thought it was one of the best games ever made. Well for me, this game now is the BEST damn game in history!

I just finished it. Beautiful game. Tied up everything.
My only complaint is there were some of the usual cheesiness and awkward moments. Gets a bit too linear towards the end. Other than that, I am very happy to be a Metal Gear fan right now.

I'm in the middle of act 4, and if you need to know how to kill Vamp (SPOILER)equip the Syringe and use CQC + triangle.
It was so awesome when I figured that out, it was a true ! moment.
He started talking about (SPOILER)nanomachines and then I was thinking for a minute and then remembered the syringe.
The end of act 4 is so stupid (SPOILER)Theres no way Raiden could stop that submarine. That thing was HUGE. The Rex vs Ray fight was a surprise, I thought we'd just watch it, not actually play it. It was great when Snake goes "Fox" and Liquid goes "Die" and then goes "NOT". Haha seriously I love this smurfing game.

(SPOILER)Yes, all of that was great. I died when the Gekko's ambush you while Raiden and Vamp are fighting. Its so difficult to play when they show Raiden and Vamp duking it out on the other half of the screen.
I also liked just going around Shadow Moses again. It was cool when they'd play certain voice clips from the original game as you went through Shadow Moses (it was even cooler when they let you play MGS1 for a while before you re-entered Shadown Moses). ARGH makes me want to play MGS1 again so much. Ill probably revisit it once Ive finished MGS4. Hope the last act doesnt disappoint. Its been so great so far.
(SPOILER)I really, really wish I had this game right now.
I finally beat it. The game would be perfect if it wasnt for the final cutscene. That was practically a feature length movie with way too much infomation to digest. Im even more confused about Metal Gears story than I was before. I think ill read a synopsis to clarify a few things, because im not putting myself through that final cutscene again.
Other than that, the game was a masterpiece. My favourite bits were the Screaming Mantis boss fight, just incredible. And the entire first act.
Right, now I guess Ill start playing MGO.
