    I wonder if the Gameboy Advance SP lacking a headphone port was a design oversight.

    I think, keeping that in mind, that it still brings Square Enix into question when it comes to features like this. Did they really put in the Music Test for players to enjoy the music knowing that the primary handheld system that everyone would be playing on lacks a headphone port by default?

    I sometimes use the music player in my DS while it's charging. I like the background music when doing lab reports or just reading.

    Nintendo claimed they didn't have enough room for a headphone jack with the other plugs that are on the GBA SP so they provided an adapter for the power jack. This means that you can't have your GBA SP plugged in and use head phones at the same time.
