Playonline ID, any other ways to purchase?

I bought the final fantasy XI online starter pack game disk, and its supposed to give me a free trial for 30 days.
So, i download the game and all that..

and then it tells me to register with PlayOnline, and is asking me for my credit card info.

is there any ways i could pay for an ID with paypal?
or is there any way to play without entering credit card info? (..since i have a free trial..)
or is there any way i could buy somebody's ID or something...?

You're not paying anything for the ID. The credit card is for the recurring payments that will start after your free trial if you don't cancel. Your free trial is still free.

I'm just guessing, but I suspect the issue here is that he doesn't have a credit card to enter.

Without a credit card I don't think you will be able to play FFXI.

Unless you have one of those Visa Debit Cards.

A debit visa will most definitely work, i'm using one
