All Grown Up

Yesterday I played the Beauty and the Beast OST in my classroom and my students asked if it was Enchanted. Very few recognized it. Little bastards.

What a sad feeling. The next generation isn't going to be raised on classic Disney movies, I guess.

I was approved for a credit card (not the ones that they just send you in the mail either!) and they called me Ms. Byrum repeatedly when I called to activate it.

I'll feel even more grown up when I have used it responsibly for as long as my dad has used his reponsibly (a long time)

Talking about old times and thinking of when they actually were makes me feel old. Living in my own apartment and having friends at university that are mostly younger than me also adds to the feeling
