To me, a die-hard gamer simply means that gaming is more than just their hobby. It's their ULTRA-Hobby.
... owns several (if not all) consoles.
... finishes every game he/she buys.
... not only finishes the main content, but the extra's aswell.
... knows everything to know about the games he/she plays (perfect routes, hidden treasures).
... follows gaming news for all platforms.
... has a monster PC.
... owns everyone online.
... will play games every day.
... owns tons of games. Not all are finished though.
... never dies in a game.
... started playing games when he/she was very, very young, and never stopped.
... competes in prize-competition.
... falls asleep on his/her job, because of gaming.
... does other things, as stated in your post below.
