Graduating High School in 2 months, and going to University this September.
whats the difference between college and university? i thought those two were the same..
i should read up on that..
College. Or, for all you Europeans, I attend a state university.
There's no solid definition. Grades of elementary, middle, and high schools can vary by state/county, not to mention across the globe.
Yeah, Americans have a different school system from you people in England/Wales/Ireland. Just like we have a different school system from all of you!
They built a new high school when I was in 3rd grade and converted the then-high school into a 'middle grades'. They have also since added a junior high.
grade school was brought into meaning because schools did not have grades. They had readers and you just did whatever you'd learned and kept up. As they got bigger and had more students to manage, the schools were divided up into grades so that everyone went at the same rate. thus, a 'grade school'.
If you'd like, I can add 'middle school' and 'elementary' and 'junior high' to your poll.
Second year of college is about to come to an end. Then it will be the third year. Then I intend to do postgrad!
I'm at college, currently deciding whether to continue with my course or leave in June to get a full-time job and do a degree in Psychology.
I thought that college=university.. but thats my bad, i go to a university.
